Look ma…no hands!
I got a chance to go on my first segway ride. It took about 5-10 minutes of zooming around a tennis court before Bill, the leader, took us off the turtle mode. Then we were off along the coastline of Half Moon Bay trying to hit the top speed of 12.6 mph. Stopping and turning is quite intuitive and natural. Going backwards and over bumps was still a bit unnerviing. Nevertheless, the ride was a total blast! For the full set, look here.
