Gobble gobble
Like last year, I hosted a Thanksgiving dinner at my place. And in the middle of the 12 hour drinking and eating fest, this scarred me for life.
But before to ahead of ourselves, this story starts on Tuesday night when I picked up a fresh turkey and brined it overnight. Then pat it dry and let the skin dry out in the fridge Wednesday night. Thursday at 1PM, Bob, as Mike named it, was off to the oven dressed with veggies and a garlic rosemary rub.
And by the time Bob came out, Mike was ready to eat him whole!
So back to the first picture…as dinner was wrapping up, wouldn’t you know it but an inebriated Theresa challenged Alanna to a dance off! Alanna brought her booty shake ala Ricky Martin style and for all that talk, Theresa couldn’t bring it. Her excuse…
“Normally I talk shit and people get scared but she (Alanna) so drunk she don’t know better.”
Uh huh, right tvu! So instead of stopping, she challenged Mike…and Mike, well Mike brought it! He brought it so good that a booty shake somehow morphed into a VRH worthy lap dance!
All in all, Bob was delish and the potato gratin was truly a heart attack in a dish, and the red velvet cake was yummy! I am thankful for many things - one of which is good friends. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

delish? ok rachel ray… you know she has her own line of dog food called nutrish. judging by her recent tv appearance, she has been eating a lot of both
